Global car up there in consolidated, the Ford Fiesta probably secured his place among the best selling models in the world today. But the compact hatch has just hit a new record: starred the longest jump in history. And this is not a metaphor: the car flew by even 45 meters!
The feat was accomplished by the Norwegian driver Eyvind Brynildsen, the World Rally Championship, and recorded in the video you see below. During the flight, the Ford was almost 165 km / h. "We had several curves before that lifting the track, I was at a good speed and I decided to risk it. Just stepped on the gas and kept a firm foot on the pedal. No drama!" He said.
The jump, the rider won the Colin's Crest, delivered to drivers who can make your car fly farther. The first to win it was Khalid Al Qassimi in 2008, after a jump of 36 meters. The feat was surpassed three years later by Ken Block, which could plunge 37 meters, and since then the brand never had been overcome.
